IDENTITY: Mrs Mary Parr, wife of John Parr of St.Paul's Street, Stamford, Lincolnshire. The 1851 census shows that Mary Parr was 53 years old, and had been born at Tattershall, Cambridgeshire.Living with her were her husband John, a schoolmaster, and children Eliza aged 21,Emma aged 18,Robert aged 15 and Hannah aged 10. Also living with the Parrs were three male school assistants and 23 schoolboy boarding students.
