Identity: William Bishop, born Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, in 1809, the son of Joseph Bishop and Sarah Barnes.Moved to Stamford, Lincolnshire, and married Eliza Gilbert in 1840. Had two sons, Henry in 1841 and Charles William in 1846(he died in 1854)William was a Master Plumber and Glazier and died of chronic disease of the stomach(most likely from lead poisoning) on September 2, 1859.
